And those are just a small sampling of what’s waiting for you here!

Towns like Saint Andrews by-the-Sea and Sussex have main streets straight from a storybook, while the Fundy Isles have close-knit communities where you’re sure to know your neighbour’s name. So, whether you prefer the city or the country, rolling hills or sweeping coastlines, you’ll find it all here.
History & Science
From the regions first inhabitants, the Mi’kmaq and Maliseet, to the 14,000 Loyalists who arrived after the American Revolution that led to Saint John becoming Canada’s first incorporated city in 1785, this region boasts a lot of rich history. For science buffs, you’ll want to check out the Reversing Falls Rapids, where the tides of the Bay of Fundy actually force the water at the mouth of the Saint John River to reverse its flow, or learn about the Bay of Fundy’s marine animals at the Fundy Discovery Centre, just to name a few must-do stops.
