You can expect a warm, helpful welcome
The province understands that moving to a new place can be a difficult process to navigate. That’s why we work hard to make the transition as smooth as possible for you. It’s all about getting you and your family the information and assistance you need to settle into your new province, community, and neighborhood too. Some of these resources include:
New Brunswick Settlement Services for Newcomers
Find the information you need about housing, healthcare, education, and other important guidance on settling in New Brunswick, including an Orientation for Guide for Newcomers.
There are agencies across the province ready to welcome you and help you adjust to your new life in New Brunswick.
The New Brunswick Multicultural Council
The New Brunswick Multicultural Council is working to enrich and grow our communities and enhance life in our province by enabling newcomers and members of the multicultural community to fully participate in society.
Provincial Immigration Supports
New Brunswick’s provincial immigration programs are designed to support professionals who have the skills, education, and work experience to contribute to New Brunswick’s economy, and who are ready to live and settle here permanently. These programs operate in support of your application for Canadian permanent residence, and we work closely with the province’s health sector to facilitate immigration supports. To learn how your immigration needs might be supported, reach out to our Navigation services, and for more information about immigration program requirements visit www.gnb.ca/immigration.
