Internationally Educated Physicians

The New Brunswick IEHP Navigation Service provides customized, profession-specific and client-centred service to IEHPs (Internationally Educated Health Professionals) at no cost to the candidate.

We aim to establish a meaningful relationship with you and keep you up to date with relevant information as it becomes available, including new programs and changes in licensure regulations. We encourage you to explore current opportunities for licensed physicians, listed here.

To practise in New Brunswick, you must first ensure you are eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.

Also, there are other pathways to practice available here in New Brunswick depending on your specialty. These include new opportunities such as the PRA (Practice Readiness Assessment) and the recently created Clinical Assistant role.

For more details on the pathways to registration for the Internationally Educated Physicians, please see this PDF document.
